Maintenance Contracts
PS&L adheres to the well-accepted “System Longevity = Optimum Design + Clean Install + Aggressive
Maintenance” equation. Experience has amply demonstrated that a sound maintenance program can
extend the useful life of an engineered solution by 3-5 years from the product life expectancy
assured by most vendors. We also realize by experience that system maintenance is often the most
neglected or hardest to realize component for the typical MWR person, Club Manager, or Works
Superintendent. That’s why PS&L has designed two basic preventive maintenance programs that
are typically offered with each sale. General items of the two options are listed below.
Option A – Factory Warranty Extension. PS&L will extend the normal supplier
parts and labor warranties for the equipment after the original period expires. This
option includes a quarterly or semi-annual inspection, cleaning and testing on-site
visit. PS&L will repair, exchange or replace deficient equipment at its discretion,
and will normally recommend a minimum spare-parts depot to be maintained by the
customer. Normal consumables (bulbs, fog juice, etc.) are replaced at no additional
labor charge. Controls and software programming are typically excluded from this service.
Option B – Turnkey Maintenance Services. This gold-level service is offered both
for PS&L-installed equipment or for other-party original install, and is truly a complete
maintenance outsourcing solution. As such, it typically requires an initial “Baseline Audit” visit
by a PS&L engineer to ascertain the true condition of the installed base. This option
includes all features of Option A, plus it takes care of all controls and software
programming/coding as necessary. A complete database of parts and subsystems will
be maintained and log reports will be generated with any activity. Depending on the monetary
value of installed gear and the response time required, PS&L can customize a specific

Turnkey means.... well, turnkey
At PS&L, turnkey means taking responsibility for the complete engineering, execution,
and commissioning of your project. PS&L has expertise in the following related disciplines
for the implementation of turnkey jobs:
- Electrical work: done by licensed electricians (110 / 220 VAC, 50 / 60 Hz, single- or multi-phase work).
- Carpentry work: full construction of stages, platforms, DJ booth, bars, cabinets, and framing.
- Construction: sheetrock work, entrances, carpeting, masonry, exterior finishing, and plumbing.
- Interior decoration: color and style matching of walls, furniture, curtains, accesories, floors, and ceilings.
- Integration with existing functionality: local area networks, monitoring stations, control systems, and electrical systems.
