As the heart and soul of MWR activities, nightclubs must be adequately designed and
provisioned both from an architectural standpoint as well as from an equipment
technology one. The two most common errors from a hardware standpoint are to
severely under-design the audio, video and lighting components, on the one
hand, or to overpack unneeded technology into a solution, on the other hand.
A minimal-design approach can
dramatically affect the “life of the club” and its attractiveness to patrons,
hence hurting profits. An oversold solution will quickly evidence “diminishing returns”
for management and erode their confidence in the solutions provider.
